Being a newbee to this hobby and looking through a couple of old MILITARY modeling mags dated 2003, i found a artical on the Austin K5 3 ton truck by a company called Sovererign 2000. I would like to build this kit if i could find it. Does anybody know if this company is still going??Or if there is another kit about in 1/35 scale?

Without trying to belitte your abilities, if you are a newbee to model building, a resin kit may be waaaay beyond your skill level. These kits generally require more work and a different skill set than styrene kits do. From the simple things like needing CA or epoxy cements to the straightening of warped parts and the removal of large pour plugs and the filling of bubble holes, resin kits are a somewhat different kettle fo fish than standard kits.

If you are unsure of how to do these things, I'd advise building a bunch of injection kits prior to starting this puppy.

Just a heads-up.

Paul
