I psted a question about making good looking canvas seats and KFMagee gave me a great sugestion.You take surgical tape cover the seat in it and paint apropiately.It's alot less messier than tissue glue and water and has anice finish product. :-)

Ok, this will sound stupid, but what exactly is "surgical tape"??

"Micro pore", you can buy surgical tape in any high street pharmacy. It is white and has a material kind of feel to it. It allows the skin to breathe underneath and so is porous. HTH
