Its Saturday night - posts are slow.
Overall the kits look fine together. Consider the jeep behind the bazooka. The back blast from the bazooka may cause problems with the jeep.
The sandbags are ok for an early diorama. If you are up to it look to see if you can scratch build some out of clay or milliput. You snake the clay or milliput out into a snake about the .3" or so and then flatten it. Then cut the lengths. You can use a #11 blade and add seams. To texture it use a piece of medical gause and press it into the bags then remove it. Paint kachi.
You can search the forums for other posts on sandbags.

They look great together .
But..if i'm not wrong..it'll be better if you change the decals of the jeep or the Sherman.
Since "Bonnie"s been in used in pacific..and the round star in ET.
Happy modellings,

Reposition the loader for the bazooka. Reloading such a weapon is done from the side of the weapon, not the rear. If an accident occurs, the loader will be fried.

If you have Bulge markings on the Sherman you need to change out your figs and add winter weathering for a Bulge dio.If your not going to do a Bulge dio then I suggest you change the Sherman markings.
Other than that all of your stuff would be perfect for a Siegfried Line dio.

First up ......... nice vehicles. I have to agree with Slodder. My fist dio had these sandbags and I regret using them now ....... they look so toylike. Go for the miliput version. On Roadkill´s homepage the method is described in good detail under "tips". The markings of vehicles and winter camo is talked about above and probably will be talked about again.
But I would like to add a little about the dio itself. Taking into account that the bazooka guys have a built in nest, the Sherman and jeep cant be sitting in the open like sitting ducks. It looks like like an ambush site that has been set up for some time. Maybe at the ruins of an old house or a break in a tree line/hedge. there are other threads on the building of trees and the gavel of a ruined house is quite simple to cast and scribe. A good example of how to do this can be found at Docs dios . Good luck with your dio and looking forward to see the results posted shortly!

An accident isn't needed : firing the bazooka will do nicely to BBQ that loader. Never stand behind a LAW (Vietnam dioramas) either if you don't want an instant tan.
About your dio, Airwarrior. If the setting isn't supposed to be a Golf course, make sure you add some mudd and stuff there. Those sherman tracks normally ruin the garden, and installing a sand bag wall isn't good for the grass either. I'd suggest you make sandbags from clay (look into this dio forum for more info how to do that). They look more natural than the Tamiya plastic ones.
But the setting looks nice. Good start.

You've obviously got some god ideas here for your dio. Good luck with it.
I understand that in the Batle of the Bulge, although it certainly was winter, not all US personnel had "winter" clothing. Clothing, and other things, were in very short supply, so you don't strictly "need" to change to winter clothing.
Good luck.
Roger
BTW I am going to the Ardennes in a few weeks time on a Battlefield Tour, and I hope to get some photos of realistic dio settings, among other things. If I get anything suitable I will let you know.

Wow great stuff!! I wish my stuff looked that good!!
Airwarrior really hasn't told us the "story" behind the arrangement!! It could be that the sacks are really filled with wheat, and they want to make bread very fast by baking them on the jeep with the blast of the bazooka...
Just joking... keep up the great work!!

A few recommendations....
First, if you use the Tamiya sandbags, i suggest that you take your wife's hiar-dryer and zap it on high for about 3 minutes. This will greatly soften the bags, allowing you to then push/mash them together into a more natural sagging fit.
Second - you may consider adding some gear around the area... shovels, ammo crates and boxes - rope, supplies, netting - things of that nature. When you set up sandbags, it takes a good while, and this is rarely done in a wide-open plain without at least some camo netting to conceal your position from aircraft or recon teams.
Overall, the work on the vehicles seems solid... i just think it's the "story" you have to work on.
