I've not heard of these before. I couldn't find a 'translate' feature on their home page either so I couldn't even guess at the manufacturer. Sorry I'm not much help but I'd like to know more too......

The woodland pattern looks pretty good. Not sure if it is the lighting or what, but the DCU pattern colors didn't look right to me. The pattern looks good, just the colors off. Namely, the light green...(if thats what it is) which should be somewhere between the brown and the tan of the overall material. Cool idea though. Would save time on painting the vests etc. Thanks for sharing your find. "Q"

Dear All
Well it seems that you can use the decal an applying on the overall figure in order to recreate the pattern.
Could be a great improvement for the new digital pattern but infortunatly it is normal camo.
keep an eye on them

Hey Seb....thanks for the link. Very neat indeed. I say this because doing camo on a figgie is my greatest modeling fear. Shoot, decals that'll help me out? Heck yea!

The woodland camo (on the flakvest) looks pretty good....maybe too much "tan," but still nice. I'm with Matt regarding the DCU's....lighting is not good.

All in all....helluva concept!

I agree with Matt and Mike on this one. The green on the DCU's is too minty in color. It should definitely be toned down a bit. The woodland looks good though, and god knows by hom much I curse, I hate painting woodland camo. id rather paint MARPAT then woodland. Hmmmm........speaking of which........Vince, you had the same idea? Why not do Marpat and Digital ACU's in decals? Lots of people dont know how to paint them, and that guy hasnt made those yet.

Yeah, I could do that, but to make it into decals from I would have to have atleast 150 sets paid up front to cover the cost of screen printing (I can't do it out of my own pocket) But if it there is a demand,I can work on it.

Hobby Link Japan carries them and several WWII german patterns as well.
Interesting stuff, but I wonder how well they'd snug down over figure sculpting details.
I just cant imagine cutting individual panels to make up an entire uniform..

This is a figure that I'm doing at the moment with decals I've printed myself. He is done in SS oak leaf pattern.

I had these in their own thread but have just deleted it 'cos it seems no one was interested. It's pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. Sorry for poor quality pics.

I was just wondering on the inside of his hood, would it be the autumn pattern as I understand these smocks were reversible?
