Hello Fellow Modellers,
Can anyone out there help me ?.I`m trying to find pilot and groundcrew figures in either 1/32 or 1/35.Now either there is a significant drought of same here in Norwich,Norfolk (united kingdom) or am i just going blind ?.It seems to me that every aircraft in these scales seems to come with the pilot sitting in the cockpit BOOOOOOOOORIIIIIIIIIING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Can anyone out there point me in the direction for figures here in the u.k. coz i do`nt really want to order from overseas.
Thanks All,Danny Greenway.

This thread may help. They are all 1/35 helo pilots, but may work for you.

Verlinden does some ground crew and standing pilots in various scales too.

Try over at Aeroscale and you will get more replies as well since it is all aircraft related sites.

Danny,
I think it would be better to state which aircraft you require pilot figures for and in which scale as the uniforms and equipment vary between nations/aircraft/era and whether they are Airforce or Navy, or are for helicopters/jets/piston engined etc.

It would be easier to make a suggestion with a little more of the pertinant detail.

Dear John,
In answer to your question,Principaly i`m looking for figures for WWII and the present day mainly gulf war,as Gino pointed out there are figures for WWII mechanics but as for their modern equivlient, these seem to be non-existant !!.
If you can correct this or perhaps some aftermarket boys could fill this niche i would be grateful.
Danny Greenway.

Not necessarily true. Modern flight line guys wear normal BDUs or other standard uniforms. You can take just about any modern figure and pretty easily convert it using a bare head and scraping/sanding some of the gear off it to make a modern ground crew member.

Good luck.
