Hello, all...I was getting board staring at my current dio build, w/c doesn't seem to be going anywhere for now, and wanted to try something new. So here it is, w/ Tamiya U.S. Gun and Mortar Team figures item # 35086.

It's not set in any specific place or time period of WW2.

Short and straight to the point: vinyl, sheet styrene, balsa wood and plaster of paris.
Still needs more rubble.

Thanks to SLODDER for the idea.

I like the detail you're getting in there - bricks on the door frame, sewer grate.

The spacing of those two can get interesting if you use the kits ammo belt. The 'flex' in it creates 'fit' issues. You may want to plan on using some foil and wire ammo belts.

Thanks, Scott. I assume by "foil and wire ammo belt" you mean cutting wire into "bullets" and gluing them to a strip of foil? Oh, yeah, the loaders position seems a bit awkward for me. I like the kneeling figure from Masters Box. It's in the NEWS section somewhere. I'll I try and wip something up from my spares box. I'll post my figures in the proper section soon.

Gday Mark
I like the layout here. Composition is great!
From the side everything is revealed, and viewed from the street, you get the action in your face... A good little project where everything you detail will count, as all is on display...
Best of luck
Cheers

Thanks, Bradley. It still lacks windows and a broken rainpipe to fill the empty space on the wall.

I finally found it:

I'll replace the prone figure w/ one kneeling down like the one from Masters Box(item # 3519)
