I was speaking with Jeff Hearn (Formally of Fine Scale and now running Model X Magaine) and he is in great support of getting a possible magazine published for 1/48 scale modeleing. (Simular to Minitracks etc). It would be published Quarterly and not very big but completely devoted to 1/48 scale. He is looking for info on how popular it might be and people who would be interested in contributing in build articles and other articles for the magazine. Sals would probably just cover the expense of publishing but I think it would be great to have a magazine for 1/48 scale. I will be in contact with Jeff as he does market research for this possible product. If you have any specific questions or interests let me know and I will pass them on and see about getting an answer.
I think with the dedicated community here plus other 1/48 scale modelers around that this is a really good idea. Let me know your thoughts.
