Does anyone have any good images of the CADPAT and CADPAT AR (Arid Region) name tapes and rank slip-ons? I want to create a decal set with them included. Also, the old OD name tapes and ranks would be more than welcome as well.


My second question....does any company make the Carl Gustaf anti-tank system? If not I may try to scratch some and create a Canadian wepaons set with accuate C7 rifles, C6 and C9 machine guns, sidearms, and the Gustaf.

Go to the CF Combat Camera site and do image searches for Afghanistan...lots of great images of the Arid CADPAT.

Check eBay for the old ranks...sometimes they show up there. The name tags are simple for the old style...olive green, about 1 inch wide, and the length varied depending on the name.

I am currently working on masters for Maple Leaf Models for C7 & variants, C8 & variants, C9...and Carl Gustav.

C7?...., when are you going to start on the masters for the Duece and a half?, common don't be a slacker.....the Canucks look like a contender for the cup, so hell has frozen over....get on with it man....

There's a Garl G with the figures in the Trumpeter Type 89 ICV, but it's pretty basic. The Firing Line one is a little better, but still could use some work. If Jason is working on one...well, I believe I'd wait for that one!

Hmmm.....if the Carl G could still use some work, even on the better one, I may try my luck at making one anyway. If it turns out great, then I'll be very happy. If not, no big loss and I'll either order from Firing Line or wait.

I think I'm still going to try make the C7s, in both A1 and A2 varients, both scoped and unscoped, and a C9, because if I manage the scopes, then its simple to put it on another weapon. Right now though Im a little low on peices to start with, so Im going to try carve down some old 1/35 scale 105mm tank rounds I haven't needed yet to make scopes. May also try to use them to get some decent underbarrel grenade launchers since we attach ours a little bit differently.

Your slagging the Duece?, it's as Canadian than Timmy Ho's maple flavoured doughnuts...I'm shocked and as far as the Flame(rs) go...well. Actually I think we might go a bit farther this year 'cause we got a goalie, praised be to all things great, we got a goalie.....it's been a long time.....could it be our turn.....
As far as the riots, I heard it was a bunch of roughnecks from Cowtown trying to sully our magnificent city...

No Oilers in the playoffs this year also means no riots down on White Ave...maybe they'll still riot having not made it into the playoffs.
