Does anyone know of any websites that has How-To articles on painting German SS figures wearing their greatcoats?

I seriously doubt you'll find any. What are you wanting to know? Colour mixes for the coats?

Hi Jody,

Sorry if I sounded a bit curt, I was in a bit of a hurry when I posted...

The greatcoats were issued in feldgrau. IIRC there were about 3 or 4 versions through the war, and the colour changed as the material, economy, supplies, etc. did - as did the entire German uniform.

I'm not sure what medium you're painting in, but if you, like I do, use acrylics, Colorado Miniatures has a nice Vallejo reference chart. Check out the German grey mixes here:
