Hi Ralph,

Don't know much about the spec on this kit nor American Armour in General but this one looks quite mean .

A couple of observations, the top looks to clean compared to the lower part of the tank, some light dust might help. I don't really like the cullen/rhino hedgecutter. It looks wrong the way you have it fixed to the front of the tank like it would simply break off of jam the tank if used. They were a bit more robust than just spikes, although I know there were different types.

That said it looks a neat model - thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Al

Thanks Alan! Thanks to the digicam, the top looks clean It's actually dirtier when seen in real life. I've already dusted it but the digicam "cleaned" it

Thanks for looking!

Gday Ralph
Looking really good mate!
The two tone is great, being nice and subtle.
You've done well with the decal on the turret top too
I agree that the hedgerow device looks a little too thin? As they were made from scrapped defence barricades on the Normandy beaches called hedgehogs, they are of a thicker steel...

All in all she's a beauty!
Cheers
Brad

Ralph-- I really like your work! The shading is superb. What brand and colors did you apply to get the subtle camouflage? Nice work.

Nah, I'm just a speck of dust compared to other modelers here in this forum Thanks for the encouraging words. Colors I've used are Tamiya enamel paints: Olive Drab and Black w/ flat for the body color, raw sienna oils + flat earth + some pastel dust powders to tie up the colors. I'm not sure if Tamiya enamels are being sold there, but their colors are the same with their acrylic line-up.

Nice finish Ralph, It's been my experience that even if you have a working link, you get a lot more comments if people can see the pics in the thread. Plus you would have no issues with bandwitdh

I really like the finish and paint job but I'm not crazy about the hedgerow cutter.
Nice photography work too ralph
