I know, I know ... the Stryker kits haven't yet started hitting the shelves, but I just watched this program on the Military Channel about the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle and I want one. Looks pretty awesome!





Some of this modern armor is starting to rub off onto me!

Yeah, just saw that too. Usually not my cup of tea but I was pretty impressed by it. Looks pretty cool too.

Iīm wondering why the brush under the skirt and over the front....

Is it a totally new vehicle? Or based off of an existing vehicle? What's it armed with?

It does look pretty cool. It was a mostly new vehicle, with some Bradley components on it. The main gun is a 30mm cannon. Unfortunately, it has been cancelled and the whole program is being reopened for bids for a replacement vehicle. Here is the Marine Times article telling all about its demise.
