I'm nearing completion of the DML M1A1 AIM and would like to make it representative of a tank currently used in Iraq. All of the kit decals are for tanks used during the initial invasion period. Are there any decal options out there for tanks in the 2006-2007 period?
I want to show my AIM in the latest configuration with the BRE. Even the decals out there from Echelon seem to represent tanks from the earlier period, most if not all do not have the BRE.
Any thoughts on whether I could cobble together some accurate markings out of the kit decals? If so, would the camoflage be sand or the 3 color NATO? I would think by now, each of the units show in the kit decals would have made additional rotations back to Iraq, I'm hoping that the only thing that would have changed would be the nicknames on each tank. I tried looking for current images of these units on the web, no luck....
Thanks very much.

Currently, 3ID is back in Iraq. They have all sand tanks. I'm not sure of current markings, but they have changed since the initial invasion.
The BRE in the kit is no longer used, it was only on 2BDE, 3ID tanks drawn from PrePo stocks in Kuwait. The BREs were locally made in Kuwait. The current BRE is the folding type that was seen on USMC tanks in the initial invasion. Eduard makes one in PE and it also comes in the Academy USMC M1A1 Baghdad 2003 kit.

My BDE is getting ready to go. The vehicles we have in 3/7 CAV are only marked with Bumper #'s as of now. We have no other markings. Even the tanks only have Bumper #'s.
