Curiously enough, i've just been sent images of the new Echelon Leopard set which includes Danish Leopards as well...

Did the Danes deploy any of their Leopards to Iraq or did they stay strictly with a lighter force?

No Danish Leo's were deployed to Iraq... The rumour is that they will be going to Afghanistan.
And Jan... I got the photo's from one of my good sources, who operates these things...

Is it just me, or is some of the paint - particularly on the rear mudflaps - pink?

It's a desert pinky tan colour. It looks very similar to the colours that were used on the Danish SF Hummers.
They are no Danish tanks deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan. The rumour that four of the Danish tanks were on standby for Afghanistan has been around since early January, 2007.
