Ok, here they are, the only photos (and figures) I have painted, that I have photos of. After our move, the others were damaged or lost and I had no pics of them. Let me know what you think. These were done last year.

Well, there they are! Let me know what you think.

Very nice!!! Excuse me if I'm ignorant (I've never built this style figure) but is the design on the red and white shield painted by hand or is that a decal?

Actually, its two decals, one red one and one white one. They were cut in half and then applied.

Actually yes.. they are both Warhammer. One is from the Brettonia Knights of the Realm plastic set, the other is a Freelance Knight.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I think that was always one thing that kinda scared me about painting knights is the incredible crests some of them have.

Anyone ever see anything for the modeler or painter anything from Lord of the Rings, let me know! Now THAT I would put together, paint, create dioramas for.. etc.!

I love the crests and the armor, weapons.. I'd love to one day work on an entire castle (realistic looking) and just have all these miniatures and dioramas, etc. all integrated. Now THAT would be some project!

LOL Dave! I'm planning on putting a tiny shelf near my computer.. which has, by the way, desktop theme.. Lord of the Rings! I think that will look very cool, too. I never heard of the game, you like it?

If you're looking for LOTR figures, there's a company called Mythril that does them !

Great work. I love the colors and the guys are cool.
I like the head on photo of the red/white figure. The depth of field is a nice touch.

What a response! I felt that if I had spent more time on them, they would have turned out better.... didn't expect such positive encouraging and flattering compliments. Seriously, any constructive criticism about them?

I couldn't see the pics for the model from scratch, but I could see them on the url.... very cool !!

I'll have to check out the Mithril site.. if they have one. You wouldn't by any chance have the url or know their address?

I need to get to the gaming store in Terre Haute and see about getting more miniatures, I really think I'd enjoy getting back into painting miniatures.
