Wanting to try a differant type of vehicle camouflage, I painted a US.Army bradley in overall white and added UN markings,it came out rather nice. This might never have been marked liked this but it was fun.The white paint gave me a chance to weather with water color paints.

Why not ?
But could you share some pics to let us see the result ? After all, the Warrior is pretty good looking in overall white, so could be the Bradley.

I would like to see it too. Like you said, it would be interesting, but no Bradley has ever been marked in UN white. The US doesn't repaint its vehicles when under a UN missions.

Gino,
The US Army used UN marked white painted HMMWVs and white Blackhawks in Macedonia in the mid 1990s.

Interesting. I have seen UN owned Blackhawks and HMMWVs painted white, but no actual US Army owned vehicles. There is a first for everything though.

Yea Gino, white Hummers. I was in Germany when we first went into that country. I beleive it was the airborne unit from Italy that had the white hummers or might have been from the Berlin Brigade. I want to say it was 92' cause I left Germany in 93'.

I know that I was in Germany from 93-94, we trained up for Bosnia, but never went as my BDE was moved back to Ft Lewis. I believe it was late 94, or 95 when Bosnia kicked off. I remember hearing about the White Blackhawks. That was back when they were also known as the Crash Hawk.

It was summer 1994 when I saw them taking "day" trips from Macedonia into Bosnia.

I took this picture in 1993, it belongs to a us M*A*S*H unit based in Camp Pleso ( Zagreb airfield) in Kroatia.

They even wore blue beanies there, Gino.
I remember the blue beanies and the case of the Soldier from 10th MTN who refused to go because he "didn't sign up to fight for the UN" or some B.S. like that. I still contend that Bradleys haven't been painted white though.
