Hi Gang;
I'm not a figure painter, but I wanted to show you my 1/35th figure for my tank commander in my Canadian Centurion Mk 11LR.
He's a modified Tamiya flak crewman with an Ultracast Head, modified Lion Roar belt buckle for a beret badge, Tamiya putty pockets and collar, the arms from the kit figure and stretch sprue wiring and headset microphone. He's wearing the 'jean jacket' outer coat.
This is the first time I've made an attempt to kit bash and modify a figure so much for a model I'm building. Comments welcome.....
Bob

Nice figure conversion Bob,
You should put some small red and white Canadian flag decals on both sleeves and rank on the epaulets....early 1970s I am pretty sure the rank was still on the shoulder epaulets and not the sleeves.
Simplest Commander rank to add to the epaulets would be 2nd Lt. bars.

Thanks Jason, you can't really see it in these pics, but he is wearing Captain's epaulets. I used some Lion Roar epaulets and added a couple of bars on each shoulder with a thin stripe of light olive paint. I had't thought of the Canadian flags though, I'll add those....
