I put this up in Axis armour but no joy so far---perhaps this forum would have been better suited....


I've for the Airfix reconnaissance set and was wondering what scale mesh I needed to make the anti-grenade cage on top of the armoured car?

Also any tips on how to make the cage also welcome!

Options:

1. Try window screen from a hardware store

2. Get a PE set from EDward/Aber/voyager/lions mark (maybe for a different kit)

3. Nylon mesh from

I tried to build a chain linked fence and ended in great fustration. The screen worked well and had nice comments

I see some of the better model shops stock different grades of brass mesh-but my local one isn't one of them!
