Hello!
I gonna make a pz IV / G from Italeri. And I decide (as a challenge for myself) to use only information (or at least the most of it) from the internet. So all the references, pics and everything, I´ll try to have it from the net.
I´d like to have your help in having it, supplying me with sites where I could find it. I think I´d like to show (or Proof) that everybody could make a good model without buying a lot of references books (I doo agree that the books are more usefull references, and I´ll keep buying them, but for people with few bucks on the pocket, the net could be a good start point).
So I´ll count with you fellow modellers!
Thank´s on advance!

Well, for an overview of the PzKpfw family try:

http://www.achtungpanzer.com/pz3.htm#panzer4

Then there is here:

http://www.kithobbyist.com/AFVInteriors/pz4/pz4a.html

for a detailed look inside and out. It isn't specific to the Ausf G, but it does have useful stuff that combined with knowledge of how the G differed from other Ausf's can be used.

There is a website dedicated to the PzKpfw IV:

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/willphelps/

which has a tour inside an Ausf G here specifically:

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/willphelps/Album0000047.htm

Finally, if you run a search through here:

http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/47207

I'm sure you'll find many an informative post on the Ausf G.

That is just from a quick look through my bookmarks, I also have a bunch of files on the computer from various places dealing with the PzKpfw IV (all versions) I can send this to you if you want.

Cheers,
Linz

I've posted its question on ML dg (axis WWII) but I didn't get NO answer, they don't seens to be very symphathetic over there!
I liked your advice, but I'll try to scratch all my details with aluminum foil and plasticard....
I hope Ken and Ron would help me in this topic, where are they?
Cheers!

Paulo, I found an Elefant aluminum barrel for my Pz IV G. Although there is nothing wrong with the kit barrel, I have yet to master gluing barrel halves together without a lot of seam clean up.

Mark;;
Thanks for the kind words!
I´ll try to make all details using aluminum foil and plastic.... The PE sets are extremely hard to find here in Brazil (and overpriced if you take them foreigner ).
Cheers!

Paulo,
I did a Google search and came up with the same links as already mentioned. I will check my library over the weekend and scan and email any info I have on the PzIV G. Just keep posting any specific questions. I'm sure you will find out more about Pz IV's than you really wanted to know.....
