I'm looking for info about the fuel can pictured below (sorry for the poor quality picture). This one is strapped to the left external fuel tank of a Engineer M113A3 in Iraq. It looks like a "dual" can (to carry 2 different fuels ). Any better picture would be welcome as well. I'm sure there are some available on the Web, but as I don't know the designation of this can, I don't know what I should look for ...

Does not look like a Fuel can but a Black Plastic Water Container, which is odd as most were out of service (Being changed to tan) by the time I got out? That was many Moons ago! But it sure looks to be the black plastic Water Container. Cheers Jeff

It is neither a fuel can or a water jug. It is a 2-piece Decon Aparatus used for decontaminating vehicles if they come under chemical attach. It is designed to fit into a standard jerry can rack to make carrying them easy.
