Dear All
Please find below lot of pictures of my M1078 finish finally painted and ready for the weathering and I am very proud of it.
I would like to thanks Dirk from Pro Art Model to send me a lot of nice items for dressing up the beast, you can see them already GPs receiver and the radio and radio antennas, thanks to you Dirk .
I would like to do a subtle weathering not a worn down vehicle but a more dusty look.
Can you suggest me some tips, I don't AB.
Thanks for looking, comment welcome

from the overspray on the paper it looks like you painted the model with a rattle can and it looks a bit thick, burying the smaller details...next time go easy with the paint.. anyhow,if you just want subtle, dusty weathering, just spray some Testors Dullcote or some other sort of matte varnish on your vehicle and then hit it with pastel dust or pigments..you should probably do a simple wash on your vehicle first to get some added depth to the various details..keep it up and good luck!! Its a good start. The rusty (?) splatters don't look right to me. For some weathering, I would do a pin-wash of dark brown around all recesses and details, then drybrush with a sandy color to tone it down. Finally, I would go over it with some pastel chalks to finish off the dusty effect.

Dear Seb

I went over and had another look at your original 'build' thread for this vehicle. I'm with Charles on this one - you've done a very good job building a difficult vacuform kit. In my book that's real model building!

You should be proud of it.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Karol

Dear Karol
thanks for this kind word, well it is strange that so few people are reacting on this post. Is it a so bad model ?
Did i screw so much the painting, if it so [auto-censored]y just say it, no big deal for me
It can be corrected and then you are learning faster right ??

cheers
Seb
