As you probably have noticed by now this is in the Vietnam section because it isnt another German WWII vehicle! Then what could it be?
I dont know you say?
It is a Bell UH-1D Iroqouis. Thats right its a Helicopter!!!!!!!
Its Due out June of 07, it has COLORED PE and it has two pilots and a crew chief and gunner! Plus markings for six choppers.

Way ahead of you my friend. It was first announced here at Armorama about 2 weeks ago. UH-1D thread and as a News thread at Aeroscale shortly after that. More info on it there.
It does look like a nice combo of the old and new. It is the Panda UH-1D/H along with the Dragon Vietnam Helo crew, and some new PE and new decal options.

Hmmm
Since I consider a chopper somewhere in the middle between a plane and tank, I may try my hands at a helicopter, esepcially 1/35 and it could look good in a nice Vietnam dio.
All in all though, I still like to be grounded!

One could have hoped for an updated figure set (Gen. 2 style), but I guess I'm pretty happy anyway. Never got around to buy the Panda kit so I'll be needing at least two of these...

Yes, somehow, Dragon and Panda are connected. I'm not really sure of how though.
There have also been rumors of releasing the Panda UH-1N under the Dragon label with the same PE, figure, and decal option treatment as well.
We shall see.

The 1/35 UH-1N would be nice, as with a few minor conversions, it could be turned into a Canadian CC-146 Griffon, which is based on the UH-1N.
We are able to do a conversion in 1/48, but not 1/35.....add it to a dio with a couple of LAVIIIs and it would be great!!!

I was thinking that this was an upgraded Panda kit. I 've had one in the stash fir a few years nw, just never got around to it. Mine has the "bonus" figures and all that, but without opening the box, I don't think it had PE, but like I said I've had it for a while and haven't had cause to go back into it yet. OH SO MANY KITS-----SO LITTLE TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
