Hi All,

Was wondering about the accuracy of taking the turret from the DML POA-CWS-H5 and putting it on the Academy M4A3E8 hull with dozer blade.

Is there a definitive answer, or am I looking at a purely "what if" scenario?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Amigo-- why would would you want to do that? The POA turet, obviously has the flame thrower. Matching them together? While innovative, I do not recall see the combination in anything I have on the vehicle. The damn blade is enough to bust any transmission. I personnally cannot envision a Sherman hull sustaining the weight of both the flame thrower related equipment and the blade weight. I could be wrong, but seems to me the only thing you would be creating is a motor pool queen. She'd never get out the gate.
My two cents

I think the POA turret can be built without the flame gun. Doing so would give you a common Korean War era tank.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the input.
DJ,
I just thought it would make an interesting subject. Never thought about the parcticality of it.
Rob,
Wouldn't gain anything in building the DML turret without the flamethrower. It would just have the 105MM, which is what comes with the Acaemy kit..
