I am part of the way through building the new trumpeter Stryker.
Not keen on trying to build the slat armour just yet.

Did the US use any Strykers in Iraq without the slat armour.

If so. do you know where I can find any pics. I want to put the kit on an approriate diorama with a few figures.

to answer your question, no. The SLAT is put on in Kuwait, or stateside before it is shiped to Kuwait, and must be on for that vehicle to roll north.
