Thought i would jump over from HFM to share this vignette with you all.The figures are my first attempt at sculpting in 54mm-1/32 as i normally sculpt in larger scales.Everything on the vignette is either scratch built or sculpted as no commercial parts were used, biggest challenge for me was sculpting the varius weapons.
The scene is of a passing russian tank taking out the german attempting to destroy it in Kursk 1943,the russian tanker has dismounted to confirm the kill, hence the pistol drawn.
Folliage is dried flowers and the snow is baking soda, fence was made from coffee stirrers. All painting is done in enamels.
All comments and criticism welcome.

Steve this is simply stunning..
The sculpting and painting is top notch - nice one mate.
I really can't believe this is your 1st in this scale.
Awesome work - one thing the Ruski tankers neck line looks a little funky - nothing some wet&dry paper wouldn't fix.
I said some time back looking forwar to your first commercial figure - judging from these it won't be long.
Great [auto-censored] mate.
cheers,
Andy

after the 2nd look - I want to buy 2 of those fallen german.
Can you knock me out 2 or so? Very happy to pay the boutique prices for single figures as it will fit perfectly into a planned dio (with minor mods)_

Also one last thing - you said it was set in 1943 where panzaershrek's around then?
I don't think they where - awaiting the armchair historians to set the record straight
Cheers,
A.D

Andy thanks for the comments mate, long time no see mate.If i had the knowledge to cast i would gladly do a couple of the figures for you, dont think they would work in 135 dio though, too big.Casting is something i really need to look into.
About the panzerschreck you could be right mate about the year,i will have to wait to see what people say and change the date and theme accordingly
Good to hear from you mate,
steve
