the M1025 is no longer used in Iraq. The M1114 and M1151 are being used in Iraq due to the fact that they are built to hold the extra Armor.

The Tamiya kit OOTB represents a basic hummer up till about the end of ODS(I believe) thats due to the fact it has the old radio. These were used in Iraq during the invasion and during the first couple of years during the insurgancy, but uparmoured and fitted with gunshields etc. You will need to replace the radio to a SINCGARS one and the kit cry's out for some etch. You can just build it as basic ODS, but again etch would be advised.

The basic M1025/1026 was used beyond ODS and into the OIF invasion. Up armoring did not occur until after the Sadam regime fell and the forces switched to a counter insurgency role. The Tamiya kit OOTB represents a basic hummer up till about the end of ODS(I believe) thats due to the fact it has the old radio. I meant if you build it ootb it can only represent a vehicle up to the early/mid 90's what with the old radio. Obviously if you change that then its fine for OIF.

Heres an M1026 for ya from early OIF.
And here is a M1043 from early OIF. you would need the doors from Tamiyas M1046 kit to roughly represent this one.
