Hi all,
You are all invited to submitt your entries for the May competition now through the New Resolution Centre. Entries can be submitted untill the 15th of May, and on the 16th of May the Galleries will be opened for viewing and voting.
a quick recap:
Around 10 photos minimum, as the entries will be elligable for use as On Display features. Indeed some of last months entries are already featured as On Displays.
Please, do not resize or otherwise manipulate your photos. We will do all the resizing required. We still receive photos which are too low in resolution to work with.
State in your submission which category you enter in (Beginner/Intermediate or Advanced) and which image you want to post in the contest.
Can I use this opportunity to encourage you all to enter, even if your model is not an award winning stunner. We have created two categories, especially to encourage more participation.
Thanks, and good luck to those who enter.
Henk

Hi Jan-Willem,
Unfortunately the fact that your T-55 has already been on display means that it has had a lot of exposure, and the new procedure of submitting and posting the entries is designed to give each entry equal and anonymous exposure. All entries are added to the gallery by the staff, until the 15th. Then we make the gallery 'visible' on the 16th and voting starts. This is why it is also stated in the rules that entrants are not supposed to 'advertise' or 'promote' their model.
So I'm afraid that in this instance your T-55 is not eligible.
Henk

Also as a reminder for all entrants, please be sure to read the Official Rules thread for the contest prior to entering.

Jan,
While I understand Henk is trying to enforce the spirit of our attempt to make entries anonymous, I believe that we can only do that to a moderate degree due to the many forum postings and other tell-tale signs pointing to the origin of an entry. That is why there is no official rule that would bar you from entering those photos.
My apologies to Henk for contradicting him on this but as a matter of official Dragon MoM rules this is the policy.
However you would still need to submit one photo (in this case) to indicate which photo you wanted to use as the primary photo as outlined in the rules.
Regards,
Jim

Irish,
Don't see a ticket with your submission in the NRC, did you send it in by email or by ticket direct?
