On several pics of M1A1s the spare rim is mounted on the side or rear turret racks. How is it actually mounted? Bolt and bracket? Are there any close up pics of this?

Thanks,

With a bolt removed from the man-hole cover and placed through one of the lug nut holes on the spare road wheel, then reattached to the man-hole cover.

Or for a third position, a bolt is removed from one of the four in front of the "manhole cover" and the roadwheel is mounted there.
