I've been sent two of the Recent stowage sets from Legend Productions -

LF1119 - Bradley Stowage set

LF1120 - M113 OIF Stowage set

So, we need a couple of (experienced) Modern Armor Modelers to do a full review of these products. They're not particularly complex, but I would prefer someone who is well-up on the material to do the reviews.

We've a lot of good Modern Modelers on the site, we are short of Reviewers in this area though...

Interested? Contact me via PM or e-mail. Thanks, Jim

Thanks, to everyone, for the response.

I've now sorted out a couple of reviewers for THESE sets, but several of you will be getting contacted with a view to doing future reviews.

This will (related to Modern releases) include:

Tankograd
Osprey Publishing
Trumpeter
Legend
DML

Thanks again, Jim

Came on site this morning and even more PMs

Once again, our thanks to those who have volunteered their services

What we'll be doing over the next few days is beginning a database of reviewers in the various interest areas. Now, thanks to your responses (and, for the first time) we will have Modern Material covered.

I'll try and get back to you all individually.

The reason for this all this is simple. As many manufacturers are interested enough in the site to send us review material, the least we can do is reciprocate by giving their product a Fair and Balanced asessment. That means people working with the material they are experienced and comfortable with.

We're going to be working hard to improve the level of reviews.

As a 'reminder', the clear policy of this Site is to WELCOME 'unsolicited' reviews - there's a need for coverage of material which hasn't been provided by manufacturers. It doesn't have to be new releases, but simply currently available. Also, any of the Staff are available for advice as how to format a review...

We do indeed welcome your reviews, and have been able to publish a few recently. But a review needs to be more than a quick list of the parts that come in the box.. We have had a few of those as well, and unfortunately we can't use those.
A review needs some substance, and whilst we don't use a hard and fast minimum number of words, a review would likely be around 400 words minimum. We also like some photos. As with the On Displays etc, please submit photos unmodified, as we will do the resizing etc that may be needed. If you have a problem submitting through the NRC, please contact a Staff member to work out a solution.
For some guidelines as to what is needed in a review, please have a look at the link below.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, either in the forum, or through a PM.

Thanks
Henk
