OK, I know everyone mostly uses future or the like for gloss coats, but I just found something I really like. Games Workshop makes an Acrylic Varnish that I really like. I just used it on Patton's helmet and it looks great. Just a little hint. Overall, Games Workshop makes a lot of unique colors and for themost part the paints really cover well, especially the Chaos Black... very flat too.

I have always been afraid to use any of the GW primers and spray paints because I dont know what it will do to the plastic of regular models. The reason I say that is because GW figures are made from a strong, solid plastic compared to DML/Dragon and Tamiya figs which arent.

When i started modelling, I used chaos black to prime everything as it was the first source for spray tins I found. I have never had a problem with them. A guy here in sweden uses them for everything. Mixes up the colours as needed for Russian and german vehicles, sprays, paints, drybrushes and washes with them. They are the only paints he has available and his work looks excellent. I see that a lot of guys here use them for skin tones and also a lot for bare metals. I dont think they will harm "expensive plastic" either!
