I found this interesting photo on the net. the photo says the soldier are from the Arkansas Army National Guard’s 875th Engineer Battalion May 10, 2007, at Camp Striker, Iraq. Though, I was interested in knowing the vehicle behind them. It looks like some kind of modified truck (5 ton?) with the new slat armor. Anyone have a guess?

I found alittle more infomation that may help someone with the answer. A newspaper article stated it is one of the Battlion's route clearance vehicles.

Hi Sam

It's a Buffalo Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle :

It's a US-built vehicle (by Technical Solutions Group Inc. in South Carolina) based on a South African design (with US mods). It is used for route clearing and counter IED activities.

More info HERE and HERE
