I want some liquid masking but my local hobby shop doesn't carry it. Before i order from the internet I was wondering if there are any effective substitutions that I could make myself
(call me cheap if you want

In a pinch you may try rubber cement. I'd test it. I haven't used it myself. I have heard of others using it. Silly putty, or play dough, ring a bell as alternatives.

I have a bottle, that will last forever, need to put it on thick tho. The only problem I have, its that it dries so clear its hard to find the end to peel on clear plastic
