Looking good so far.
As I have the kit but working on the Tamiya one first I will watch this one closely.
Keep up the good work.
Now if those magic tracks would build themselves that would be the icing on the cake.

Looks good so far. I'm at about the same stage. I'm trying to decide if anything under the PE needs to be prepainted. Usually I don't worry about it until after the main colors are down, this kit's a bit different.

Looking good so far.
It is one heck of a kit.
I use it as an example while I build the Tamiya one.

And the madness begins with the tracks.

Hopefully I'm doing this right. See you guys in the next update.

Very nice work- it looks so fantastically detailed. I'm especially impressed with the non-skid material. It looks pretty close to scale. I couldn't tell but that kit includes a turned aluminum barrel right? I'm absolutely glued to this build. Now I just need to grab one of those kits...

Yes, the kit came with the turned aluminum barrel, but the plastic version had better details so I went with that one.
Hopefully I can get more progress this weekend because some kids are staying over for the summer and I'll have to stash this away

It looks good so far. I would chunk the wheels a little. Not much, just on the inside edges where the wheels might run up on the center guides a little bit. But I like to see things beat up a little bit anyway.

Thanks for the continued comments.
I did quite a bit on the turret but my daughter is hoarding the camera right now. I'll try to get some photos up soon.

Ronnie,
I hope it's not too late, but any way to get some close-up's of the track "build?" I'm curious how the various pieces of the Magic-Track "connect," if you know what I mean.
Thanks!

Hi Mike,
I'm not at home but the track links just clicks into place. I connected a few at a time and put liquid glue where they meet, waited a few minutes so it will still be flexible to work with.
If your building this, I suggest you not glue the top part of the bottom hull yet and do the tracks first. It will be easier to position the tracks w/ the sprockets without anything in the way. I had to struggle with mines because the fenders were in the way.

Looks very good so far. Interesting to hear about the magic tracks. Do they click together so firmly that you can position them on the model before you start to use glue?
Looking forward to see more - thanks for sharing

You will need to apply the glue first then position them around the wheels and sprockets.
Check out
this article that helped me out alot on dealing with the tracks.

Ronnie,
Looks great! What did you use for the periscopes in the TC's cupola?
