SU 85 M - Trumpeter conversion

A loooong time ago I decided on converting a Trumpeter 1:16 T34 model 42 to a SU 85 M - from drawings, a Dragon SU85 M and photos on the net this was the result after 2 years time, but only a few weeks of real work ...

All the original Trumpeter parts are the green stuff, rest is a happy mix of sheet styreen, miliput, tamiya putty, metal wire and other ods and ends ... a close insoection will reveal that 4 bolts are missing ...





Any comments are very wellcome, especially before paint goes on ...

Very cool! Great weld lines. Could we see some photos of the entire model to see how the whole thing looks? Definitely want to see the finished piece.

Thanks, well most of the work concerns the front half of the tank, the rest i pretty much stock apart from the fenders and fuel tanks,.

When I get back from the States, ill take some more pics of the tank.

I agree, those weld seams are great. So are the bolt heads!
