Hey I know this should be in the tools forum, but i'm a diorama modeler, so I thought I would share. I bought some brushes, called Micro-Brushes, for 1.99$. You get 10 bruses, and they can be reused. They work surprisinly good for the price. They come in fine and extra fine, and they hold a ton of paint. Good for little details. Just thought I would share. Danka!!!!

If they are what I'm thinking about I've always hesitated to buy them. Now with a good recommendation I'll have to reconsider.
Sounds like a new Review is coming up -what do you think Howitzer?

I tend to think that you get what you pay for. To get 10 brishes for $1.99, how good are they, really? Brushes I normally get run about $5.00 a piece. I would like to check those micro brushes out. If they are as good as you say they are I would be able to save some $$$.

Is this what you are talking about?
Micro-brush link
I've used them for awhile now, and find them invaluable. I use them for touch-ups, getting into hard to reach places, for paint and glue, and even for some camo effects on 1/35 figures. I think they are extremely useful.

I must say the shape is interesting. I can see using them for gluing in tight spaces.

Ya, that is what i'm talking about. They bend so you can paint or glue in tight spaces. O, and I use them and clean them out with paint thinner. I use them over and over and over.

I use these for aplying accelerator to super glue. If they get wasted, not much lost. Even gooped with cured super glue, they can tranfers a drop of kicker to a seam.

I use them too... great for when my chubby fingers just can't reach the right spot! Also, when the cotton tip is finally shot, pull it off and there is a fine plastic tip that is perfect for holding a TINY drop of CA glue. Great for use with photo-etch brass, or to paint in an eyeball or eyebrow....!

I usually pick them up here:
Micro-mark online
They are in 30 packs, so the $3.50 is actually a good savings over the 10 for $1.99 price.

I use them to for small details and touchups. they are great to use as if you don't overload them they hold the paint in the brush untill you actually touch something. makes doing small details easier such as paining wiring and tubing in aircraft cockpits. I also use them to clean out the siphon tubes in my airbrush jar attachments and to clean out the airbrush tip and some of the airbrush itself deffently worth keeping in the toolbox.
