Hello all,
It has been a while but im back on track,
With this posting i want to share my new project.
normally i don't build " modern " armor , with some exeptions.
This is one of them.
'Cause the pics are oversized i placed them on an internet page .
Hope yuo can appriciate it..
It is not completely finished. The tracks are missing. But the Fruil comp. just put the wrong tracks in the package. So i have to wait till they send me the correct volume. After that i can add them to the tank.
Also i have to add the stowage and other stuff.
hope you like what you see
You can find the page here..

Hi Eric, I had problems with my JS3 I couldn't get the front armout to join on properly. So there is a small gap between the front Chassis and the Hull. Where did I go wrong?
Cheers

scott,
i didn't have any problems with the fitting at all.
i've just slidedthe upperhull over the lower hull section and thats it.
Nice proper fit.
Don't know from wich manufacturer your JS3 is..mine is an Tamiya one.
The only thing i added to prevent a see through . From the commanders hatch to the bottom og the tank, is i glued a piece of lead to the underside where the cuppola fits in thats all.
The rest is almost standard.
The only things i'ff added as extra is a small P.E. set from Eduard a Rubio barrel and some friul tracks thats all.
The figure is one from the Russian tanker crew ( also Tamiya ).
But i wasn't pleased with the track setting afterall. The were to loose over the wheels.
So i've removed and made them one or two track links shorter.
So now they are tighter.
I also added another figure. ( From ICM ) I've painted the figure in the colors of the Tuareg tribes.
I thought it would give a nice contrast to it.
My next model will be a AB41 ( Italerie ) and this one willbe build OOB ( But i always say that )
Hope you like the update. ( pics will follow soon )
Cheers
