Hello and greetings from Australia.
I am hoping that anyone living in France or familiar with France could answer the following question.I wish to build a French street dio. featuring a damaged brick wall covered with stucco . This wall is not the wall of a house but rather a wall enclosing a courtyard, with a wooden door leading to the street. Is this accurate or were all such walls bare stone or brick without stucco. i would greatly appreciate any feedback.
many thanks Paul Raggio

Hi,
You can do the stucco, no problem.

Cheers

Hello Paul,
If you want to be a real nit picker -a kind of person who is rarely to be found on modelling forums as you know- it all depends on the location of your story.
Normandy has different walls than Lorraine and Provence.

Hello,
I agree with Vittulu.
Let's say that if you wan to specially locate your dio in Provence for example, you could depict a wall made of stone (white stone) or use a pastel orange or pink if you want plaster.
But don't worry, in 44/45 you found bricks, stones and stucco in every part of France.
Best,
Julien
