I think this kit has been saturating the boards lately, so I'll just say that I'm really enjoying the build. Some WIP shots, ready for final weathering / finishing and detail assembly for tools etc.
All feedback encouraged and appreciated;

Basic structure:

Primed (flat black - preshading):

Base coat applied :

I really like preshading with flat black as a primer. Filling in the panels with OD (British Green) gives depth and shadowing that IMHO, really work well at scale. I will filter with Lifecolors next........

Got the track on and some preliminary weathering on the lower suspension:

What did you use for your base coat (OD green)? I am about to start the DML firefly and will be using black as a primer as well. It worked well on My M4A3E8 Thunderbolt.

Hi Mike,
Don't laugh, but it's Tamiya IJA Green......thinned with some isopropyl alchohol and a few drops of retarder.

Looks very nice Steve i really like the effect you have gotten with the pre shading and panel fading this is going to look awesome with some weathering thrown on, great job so far. The weld beads turned out really well also.
