I am planning a north africa dio and am trying to find out for sure if dragon's teeth were used by any side (allies or axis) for defenses in the desert (Mareth Line possibly?). I could have sworn I read that they were but I don't remember where I saw it and am not having much luck searching the internet. Any info would help.......

Hi Dave,
I can't really help you out with the answer to your question, but if you are going to make your own dragons teeth there is a good SBS by Koen "koenele" Verbruggen on the Benelux site which can be seen HERE. If you need an English translation,PM me mate.
Cheers,Shay

Yea Thanks but I have already built the dragon's teeth and they came out great. It would be a shame if I couldn't use them for this dio.

Doubtful, but not impossible. Dragon's teeth were used on the European "walls," as in the Atlantic Wall, the Seigfried Wall, etc. They were for defense and the Afrika Corps was rarely in a stationary defense long enough to build Dragon's Teeth. The only possible use was Tubruk. Google time ..

Yea thanks, Im probably just going to put them on my display anyways (its only 2) Im sure that once it is all finished some "expert" will come out of the woodwork with the exact location, size, concrete mixture ratios of all dragons teeth ever created and where they were or wern't used in north Africa.
As for the 1/35 dimentions, dragon's teeth varied in size from 2 ft high all the way to 5 feet. So I just made mine to where I felt it "looked right" after all im not of the rivet counter breed anyways.
