Anyone have any experience making realistic looking fire. I've seen some attempts at smoke using cotton but all it looks like is dirty black cotton. I am thinking about fog. Anyone been in Germany knows about "fog watch". It would also be great to do breath condensation on figures. Would welcome any ideas.

One way to make fog or smoke is to blow actual smoke on your dio while you take a picture. I am not promoting smoking cigarettes by any means but I have seen it done. It looks really convincing.

wasn't looking to take pictures, but I've got a feeling that the only way is through photography or shredding cotton balls. Hey they've got some great new water stuff out there maybe someone will figure out a thin gauzy substance that will be able to look like ground fog and burning

I've been there.... what you want to know about fog watch ? I've been an "OICODOF" (Officer In Charge Of Disappearing Of Fog) during my first visit to the Bergen Hohne Firin Range #:-)
