Are there any available resin interior sets for an M60-A1?

I used a set that featured the engine which also had the interior for the engine compartment as well. As to the turret, I would suggest checking out Verlinden as that is who made the aforementioned kit.

Nope! (dont think so..) Verlinden and Hobby fan both make engine sets. Go check out the Missing-lynx.com gallery, under the mdoern vehicles section and Korean guy has scratch built a full interior for an M60 and its pretty stunning. There would be a lot of work invloved and it would take a lot of research indeed. Verlindens warmachines book is a good starting point.

Thanks for the heads up there. I agree. He did a great job on the interior. It has been a long time since I crammed my bulk into a M60 series tank, but it looks more like a M60-A3. But I don't think I am willing to spend the next year and a half scratchbuilding the insides. I need to work down the stash a little. Besides that, I no longer have my M60 TMs.

You might try to do just alittle scratching on it like the TC hatch area, get a round pattern piece for the turret floor, add a few upgrade pieces to the rear of the cannon, that way you could have a hatch open display

Don,
Was that your M60A1 at IPMS Nats last weekend - the one with the guys working on the transmission??? If so, AWESOME build. Let us know what mag it is being published in, so I can get it if it is not one of the usual purchases... I would have liked to see it with the dome lights on but, I guess that I can not have everything...

John,
That was my M60A1 at Anaheim with the crew trying to find the fuel leak. Thanks for the compliment. I posted it right here on Armorama a couple of days ago. Now we just have to wait until they post it. I signed up for this site a long time ago but never really looked around in it until 2 days ago. I was begining to think that no one liked my tank. It was my first real contest and the judges "reclassed" my tank to a diorama. I came home and looked for pics of my tank on the web. This is the only site that posted a pic of my tank. I'm thrilled take you like it. I took pics of the inside before I glued the turret together. I will post pics to my profile this weekend, here on Armorama. If you still want to see the LED's on, then I will take a picture and send it to you. Again Thanks,
Don
