You've really made a silk purse out of a sow's ear there, Steve.

Thats a looker!
I really like the tracks although there could be a little bit more dirt on the hull.

It could easily sell as 1/35. Beautiful.
Say, what are the differences in weathering (if there are any) that you use in small scale?
(I like both small and 1/35 -and try to learn.)

Hi David,
Thanks for the kind words, your site has been a great help and inspiration!! Keep up the good work! I live fairly near Bovington so I can get to see the original quite often.
Going to try a mid production next.
All the best,
Steve

If you didn't tell us it was 1/72 I would not have said smaller than 1/48. The detail is nicely molded and nicely finished.

Steve, very nicely done. The tracks/running gear look as though they've seen a few miles, alright. (I've been around bulldozers and excavators a little bit...)
One question, though, and I'd not have noticed if I wasn't looking at the the instructions and parts for my Revell Tiger I (just got today.)
The left rear (where else?) mudflap has been omitted on your model, and I would just like to know why for? I'm not criticizing; I just want to know.

Hi Lewis,
Thanks for the comments. Like the front mudflaps and trackguards, these thin metal parts were often damaged or torn off in action, particularly when reversing out of danger. I chose to model my Tiger I this way to add a little 'character' to a tank fighting in the harsh winter conditions.

Great job on this one. If you had not written 1/72 I would have thought it was 1/35.

Would never have guessed it to be 1/72. You've done a very good job on it.

Steve, I never even thought of that. Of course. And now I (finally; LOL!) noticed the front fenders!
Keep it up!

Wow!
This Tiger looks great!
But... Isn't it H1? I guess H1's mostly had that wheels and commander's cupola.

Kuba

Gorgeous job on this Tigger! The only thing I can offer would be to put some snow powder and track marks down on that pristine base and really put this cat into its element!
