im not an expert but its good, but too plain, i think you need more effects on the boat (i.e battle scratches, rust and other thing like that)
I don't agree with you,i think it's filthy enough and i know these days some people must always have a lot of scratches and rust on there models but sometimes i'm really amazed when i'll see this.
Hi Frank,
I'll really don't know it anymore what i used for the water,it came out of a little bottle,i read it somewhere and bought it,it was the first time i made water and the second time i'll used it on a larger diorama it was a big disaster,it shrinked,i have never used it again.
The weathering is the same on boats and vegetation ?????yes it's green but i've used different kinds of green, also on the plants(the little plants are unmistakable lighter)maybe it's better for the diorama to exaggerate with this but when i'll look out of my window i'll see a lot of trees and bushes and they have all the same green color.
About the red dust,i have never used red dust for the plants,as i said the diorama is from the nineties, almost 15 years old,the red dust is real dust i can't remove anymore.
Hi Karl,
No interaction????,sorry, but i really don't agree with you either, there is one soldier checking the papers, the other soldier with the M-16 is watching. The soldier on front of the boat friendly waves at the girl that's looking at him.the other soldier sits by the machine gun, there is no danger and drinks a coke(PBR patrols were boring)
You have to use your imagination a little bit,the soldiers have allready seen the little boat ,no weapons aboard and it's not the first time these vietnamese see a PBR ,so ?????go in peace
I agree that the water is too flat, but there is no need for disturbance to the water around the PBR,on pictures or in real, when the boat is not sailing and there is no wind, you don't see any disturbance around the boat.
