About Jim Starkweather (staff_Jim)
FROM: NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STATES

I started building models in 1971 when I was 6. My first model was a 1/32 P-40 Warhawk. Revell I believe. From there I moved onto the standard cars, Apollo spacecraft, and other kid orientated kits. I don't know what got me started on Armor. I must have seen a Monogram tank kit one day and said "Mom...

Jim Great video, and great looking kit. Great reference on the canvas top, to me I think they did a pretty decent job on the one piece canvas top. And based on the sprues, a good razor saw will be needed to get some of those parts off without breaking them. Thanks for the video, think this is a must get. Kevin

The release of this kit is very good news, they seem to have done a fine job. Al

Same chunky style parts as within the EHD kits. No option fo opening the doors, no interior detailling. I bet that this company again comes with an expensive update kit which at least corects some of the ugliest down of this kit. My advice: Better wait until AFV adresses these subjects. These IBG kits are (expensive if built with the update kits) toys rather than model kits....

I read both the reviews here and on PMMS and whilst maybe not as detailed a kit as we would get from Bronco or AFV Club it's much better than the plastic kit we didn't have prior to it's release. The same will be true for the QLT, QLB and QLR regardless of how fine or not the detail. I've see no indication of one coming along from AFV Club unless someone knows better? I'm delighted IBG made this available in 1/35 scale, if we get other Bedfords from other manufacturers I'll be delighted about those too. AL
