Floating in from Dragon Models soon will be new variant of a Japanese amphibious tank in 1/72 scale.

Dragon Models has announced a variant of the Japanese Type 2 Amphibious tank with a late production version. The kit will include newly tooled pontoons to match the late version two half front section. Dragon is also stating this release will allow the “modelers to place it in a scene where the tank is wading ashore”.

According to Dragon Models USA this kit is scheduled for a September 2013 release.
