Something for the Halftrack Fan

Bronco Models is at it again with news of yet another new product in the works in the form of a German halftrack.

This latest product from Bronco Models is based on the ex-Great Wall sWs kit but upgraded with Bronco Models flair. The tracks are made from individual links which will please those modellers who complain about the demise of this feature. The new canvas covers judging by the provided pictures look great and should be an eye catching feature. Perhaps the part that many will be glad to see is a one piece chassis made using slide mould technology.

Seems to be the Great Wall Hobby kit without the Miniart figures, but with the engine set that used to be sold separately by GWH and most importantly with a new tool tarp cover. GWH used to sell a resin tarp, but at an exhorbitant price. So good news overall, despite the flawed steel wheels (see PMMS review of the GWH kit). Cheers, Christophe

Not something I can get overly excited about, I would have preferred something a little different from Bronco, there is already the Italeri and Great wall versions of this kit. Arent we due a French half track, say a couple of versions of the UNIC P.107?
