Past Allied-Axis volumes from Ampersand Publishing are now on sale until 6th of July. At only $10 per book, it is a great chance to fill gaps on your collection or start it.
Each volume is 96 pages and deals with a four to six subjects,which are covered with both wartime and contemporary photos.

Just made an order for three volumes. At checkout they charge 37 dollars for postage!!! Are they crazy?

No they are not crazy. Postage from US to Europe is prohibitively expensive and there is no international book rate here. Had to paid $16 to send a very light (lighter than an Allied Axis volume) softcover book USA to France. A friend sent me a heavy hardcover book from France to US and had to pay the princely sum of $7 (book rate), go figure! Cheers, Christophe

Postage is getting crazy, but these books will be no cheaper when paying full price for them on the Internet or from a LHS.
