Volker Ruff’s second volume on the Tiger tank units is available for preorder. This one deals with the s.Pz.Abt.502

As the first tank unit deployed with the Tiger, s.Pz.Abt.502 saw in action in the Leningrad area at the end of August 1942.

It is illustrated with more than 100 contemporary photographs of the first Tigers in action, around the Leningrad Ladoga sea front line. Images from the Ladoga battles, Baltic area Narwa, Pleskau, Dünaburg and Newel are shown in the book.

The text is dual language, in English and German.
