This is a set of six (6) Marine Corps heads (due to the helmet covers on each head) in resin. Warriors really has great quality and I am really becoming a big fan of their products. This set of heads, as mentioned, are designed for Marine Corps troops throughout the later part of the 20th Century up to recent times. They could be used for Korea/Vietnam era troops of any service.
What you get
The molding of the heads is fantastic. There is very little flash, and the lines and surface of each head is without defects. The helmet covers have the wrinkles in all the right places. The facial expressions range from determined, to tense, to lost in thought. There are no screaming or yelling heads in this set, though they could readily be used for combat dios or figures. No head is alike in this set
The only drawback is that the rather large pour stubs are directly on top of the helmet. This makes it rather difficult for a modeler to clean the stub off without threatening to ruin the finely detailed helmet. I wish they would place the pour stub on the neck. Perhaps the casting process precludes Warriors from doing so.
Final thought
Overall, this set is great! I highly recommend it
Thanks to VLS for providing the review sample.
SUMMARY
Six different heads with a range of expressions make this a set that should be useful to people building Marines from World War II to Vietnam.
