SB Models have their own range of accessory products, some of which I've reviewed before. I came across some camouflage netting, when I was down at Duxford, which I thought might be useful. They have several colours and I got some Green and Brown nets.
The Nets
The nets come packages in a Ziploc plastic bag with a card attachment showing the manufactures details. A small sticker on the front of the packaging displays the product number and name.
The nets are approximately 190mm x 140mm and are of an elastic type material that can be stretched out quite a bit.
There are no instructions with the nets but I would assume you would soak them in PVA glue, stretch them out to the required size and leave to dry. Paint if necessary and then hang them up over whatever you want to camouflage.
Conclusion
The material looks quite good for 1/35th scale and a little experimentation will tell if they are suitable, but as they are reasonable priced it’s not too much to invest, to check the results. A stretched and painted net is included in the photographs to give you an idea of actual size and look, be it all this was a quick finish.
SUMMARY
Highs: Stretchable and quite a good representation in 1/35 scale.Lows: None known at present.Verdict: Recommended.
