The Axis Occupation of Holland During the second world war is maybe not the most common or easily modelled subject for diorama builders. The distinct architecture and signage can present a problem when trying to present an authentic scene from this region. Hopefully this release from Reality In Scale should make things a little easier.
The Kit
Printed on a thin veneer of wood, these assorted business signs and adverts for various household items, such as coffee and butter look very convincing. Various merchant signs are included too allowing the modeller to make a busy shop window display or simply add some interest to a street scene. If there is one criticism, some of the finer print on the smaller adverts looks a little blurred, but considering the rough surface of the wood, its hard to see how this could be avoided. supplied with the kit are two very ornate posts to mount the signs on, which will add to the authenticity when they are displayed.
Conclusion
These signs could provide a great finishing touch to any WW2 Dutch diorama. The items covered are what one would expect to be displayed in any Dutch high street during the period and the inclusion of some very well rendered brackets to hang them on is a very welcome addition.
SUMMARY
Highs: Interesting and unusual subject matter. The Brackets are very well rendered.Lows: Some smaller text is a little blurred.Verdict: A great little set that should provide plenty of items to fill up any Dutch Diorama.

About Dave Oliver (Isherman) FROM: ENGLAND - EAST ANGLIA, UNITED KINGDOM
Dave started modelling after receiving a 1/144 Brewster buffalo as a Christmas present at the age of 6. he carried on modelling into his teens until life got in the way, resuming the hobby about 4 years ago. He builds armour, aircraft and sci-fi subjects.
I inspected the pic of the signs.
The work that has put into it to create this is in my opinion a bit of a waste of time.
When you start goolgleïng there are hundreds of free signs waiting to be downloded.
The only thing that comes in handy are the two metal jacks that are in this package.
Sorry for me it is a no go..
sincere
Eric
